OmicsBox must be connected to the internet in order to execute jobs on the Cloud. To ensure uninterrupted operation of tools, such as overnight runs, it is important to prevent the computer from entering power save mode, which could potentially disrupt the internet connection or put the computer into sleep mode depending on its configuration. If there are any issues with internet connectivity or if the computer enters sleep mode, data transmission to and from the Cloud will be affected. Therefore, a reliable internet connection is essential and disabling computer sleep mode is necessary. Instructions for accomplishing this can be found below; however, more detailed information can also be accessed on each operating system provider's webpage.
